Firstly, I LOVE the property industry! Having left university with an Accountancy and finance degree I started my property journey when I was 23 years old working for a local construction company. As a business manager, I was responsible for setting and tracking costs for various construction projects. This included one town centre development of 10 apartments but also smaller commercial refurbishment projects.
Looking for personal development I then went on to study for a master's degree in Quantity Surveying. Working closely with the company owner who was also a property investor himself I gained a great deal of knowledge. The six years I spent there gave me invaluable experience in property construction, refurbishment, and the property market itself. I learnt where to buy, where not to buy, and the best time to buy.
Purchasing my first buy to let investment in 2015 I have gone on to acquire a portfolio of several Buy to let properties, HMO (house of multiple occupancy) and SA (serviced accommodation) properties in my free time.
With my background I am thankful to know with confidence what to buy, at what price and its resale value, all aspects that now help me to find these deals for other, like-minded investors.
